And I am so happy that Kurt is willing to reach out to Dave despite what happened between them. It’s a fucking inspiring message, because Kurt is probably the only one who could probably save this kid from a path of destruction. It just shows what an amazing character Kurt is, and it makes you reflect on everything you’ve known about bullies up until this point.
Dave isn’t the problem. SOCIETY is the problem. Society is what keeps these people in fear and self-doubt. So you know what? Dave is a fucking victim himself and it’s the saddest shit in the world. Not being able to be yourself because you’re so fucking afraid that if you do, an entire shit storm is gonna fall upon you.
You know why we have to protect him so much? Because we have people like all of you bitching about his character without realizing the consequences on how that makes others feel. Finn was forced to join because Will framed him. Lauren joined as a last resort. And I’m pretty sure Puck joined ND to get close to Quinn.
But you know what? Despite the awful reasons for joining over time the kids changed and turned out to be decent individual. Why can’t you fucking wait for that to happen Dave? Give him some fucking time before you feel the need to bash him because his redemption story only got started, and he’s barely had time to rise up before you all feel the need to constantly knock his character down.He’s going to change.
